Tasks related to the position
o Perform preventive maintenance and other repairs on heavy equipment, mainly on Down the Hole (DTH) and Top Hammer drills or occasionally other construction equipment
o Diagnose mechanical problems or disorders and determine the nature of the problems
o Handle various customer requests and collaborate with them in establishing maintenance plans
o Ensure the follow-up of the customers' heavy equipment
o Provide excellent service to our customers
o Write repair reports and identify the cause of the problems encountered
o Perform all other related tasks required
Other details
o Full time, permanent position
o Employment in the mining sector, for our clients who are drilling and blasting contractors.
o FTraining for drilling equipment provided at our facilities and phone support always available when you are on the road
o Location: we have contracts and requests for Fermont, Labrador, Abitibi and Northern Quebec.
o Schedule: 14 days on site/14 days off, 12Hrs/shift; We also have a site that works 21/21, 12Hrs/Shift.
o Salary: to be discussed, but we are very competitive
o Overtime paid after 8Hrs worked. This means that on runs (84Hrs/week), paid 40Hrs regular and 44 Hrs overtime.
o Food and lodging when on the road
o Service truck provided with tools, clothing; laptop provided and cell phone paid (depending on conditions).
